To have qualified for the ability to reopen to guests for the purposes of leisure accommodation, these hotels would have put in place various Safe Management Measures implemented by the Multi-Ministry Taskforce and satisfied the taskforce’s stringent requirements. This includes the implementation of a rigorous cleaning and disinfecting regime, protocol to reduce face-to-face mingling between persons, crowd control measures as well as the satisfaction of reduced human density requirements.
As was the case prior to the nation’s Circuit Breaker, a slew of staycation deals and voucher promotions have emerged for your careful consideration, some of which are already live while others await approval for the hotel’s reopening before redemptions can commence. Notable ones include:
Capella Hotel, Singapore‘s weekday Villa Upgrade Experience, where the cost of a Premier Seaview Room nets you an upgrade to a villa with your own private plunge pool;
Fairmont Singapore‘s Upsized Staycation Offer which includes a S$50 return stay voucher, S$100 worth of F&B dining credits as well guaranteed early 11am check-in and a late 4pm check-out;
Four Seasons Hotel Singapore‘s Staycation package with accumulative credit of 30% of your daily room rate, a 24-hour rolling check-in and check-out and, if you stay on a weekday, an additional complimentary upgrade to the next available room category (excluding specialty suites) and a complimentary bottle of red wine;
Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore‘s A Goodwood Getaway with Private Chef Dining Experience (S$350++) which covers a night in one of their newly-revitalised 74sqm Parklane Split-Level Suites (the two-floor suite has a kitchenette, study alcove and balcony), an intimate private dining experience for 2 guests in the comfort of your suite as well as breakfast and a late 3pm check-out;
Marina Bay Sands‘ Sands Getaway package with S$40 off all nights as well as S$75 dining credit;
Raffles Hotel Singapore‘s The Suite Life package, which works like a second-night free promotion and offers fantastic value at the Grand Dame;
Shangri-La Hotel Singapore‘s Valley Wing Indulgence, which provides access to a 90-minute massage treatment at Chi, The Spa as well as unlimited all-day champagne (?!) at the lobby Champagne Bar;
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel‘s affordable S$258++ Iconic City Staycation package with late check-out and dining credit or the even more magical weekend Blissful Escapes package for a stay in either a Pool Terrace Room or Executive Suite with accompanying English High Tea with champagne for two;
Sofitel Singapore City Centre‘s The Hotel Experience Exclusive Package, which incorporates your choice of either a tapas/cocktail pairing or a high tea experience into the mix.
Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa‘s Retreat to Sanctuary package (identical to the one I experienced earlier this year), which comes with a relaxing message at SoSPA;
The Fullerton Hotel Singapore‘s Luxury of Time package which offers check-in as early as 11.00am and late check-out at 6.00pm along with S$150 nett dining credit; and
W Singapore‘s Suite Temptations package which offers one of their funky suites as well as S$100 in F&B credits.
