Snow Skin Mooncakes (2015) - Li Bai Cantonese RestaurantStanding firmly at attention like garang NSF recruits during first parade are these mini snowskin mooncakes from Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant, Sheraton Towers Singapore – (clockwise from front) lotus paste with salted egg yolk, green tea paste with yuzu truffle, lotus paste with champagne truffle and red date paste with apricot. Whilst the red date mooncake evoked strong Yeo’s Longan Red Date drink feels (hmmm, freshly prepared?), the yuzu mooncake was a flash of refreshing citrusy lightning and the champagne mooncake releases upon bite a remarkably formidable dosage of alcohol from its moonly prison.

The mooncakes were courtesy of Sheraton Towers Hotel and Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant. The snow skin mooncakes are priced at $56 for 8 pieces, and are available from 24 August to 27 September 2015.
