Closed since September 2022 for renovations, the reimagined Grand Hyatt Singapore is set to welcome guests from the first quarter of 2024 onwards, with the unveiling of the transformed 699-room property to be done progressively in phases. As part of its relaunch campaign, Grand Hyatt Singapore has launched Moments of More, a visual storytelling contest which invites both Singaporeans and global travellers to share their treasured experiences that are off the beaten path in Singapore – think personal discoveries, lesser-known experiences and favourite memories.

THE “MOMENTS OF MORE” CONTEST

To participate in the “Moments of More” contest, all you need to do is to share photos or short videos of Singapore’s hidden gems (up to six (6) media files) and explain what these recommendations mean to you and why they are unique. It’s that simple. Judging guidelines are based on the creativity in recommending local recreation activities, ways to recharge in the City in Nature or sustainability activities (40 percent), the originality of the post (50 percent), as well as the public appeal during the voting period (10 percent). Participation eligibility and contest terms and conditions can be found on the “Moments of More” microsite.

One (1) Grand Prize winner will be rewarded with 1 million World of Hyatt reward points (!!), and the four (4) other winners will each win a 2-night stay at the newly renovated Grand Hyatt Singapore and SGD 600 in-hotel spend credit.

Submissions for the contest are accepted from 28 August 2023 onwards and close on 29 September 2023 at 2359hrs. The top five entries will be announced on 16 October 2023 for public voting. One Grand Winner will be announced by 31 October 2023.

Grand Hyatt Singapore even produced a movie trailer-style video titled “The Grand” to kickstart the campaign – click here to watch it.

WHAT CAN YOU GET WITH ONE MILLION WORLD OF HYATT POINTS?

To give you a flavour of what 1,000,000 World of Hyatt points can redeem in practical terms, these are the point redemptions (and cash values) of various Hyatt properties I have featured on this website, based on rates applicable as of 1 December 2023:
