IHG One Rewards has launched their first global points promotion in 2023. All IHG One Rewards members who register for the promotion between 23 January 2023 and 14 April 2023 will earn 2,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points for every two nights stayed between 9 February and 14 April 2023.

Note that under their terms and conditions, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum of 1-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding US $30 (or local currency equivalent) for each night. Therefore, stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for the purposes of this promotion.

OFFER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To participate in the “2,000 Points Every 2 Nights” Promotion (the “Promotion”), an individual must have an active, valid IHG One Rewards member account and must register for the Promotion. Members can pre-register for this Promotion from 18th January 2023 until 8th February 2023 (the “Pre-Registration Period”). Members will be able to stay and earn IHG One Rewards bonus points under this Promotion starting from 9th February 2023 and ending on 14th April 2023 (the “Promotion Period”). Members who did not register during the Pre-Registration Period may register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period. A member can only register once. By registering for the Promotion, a member is accepting these Terms & Conditions.

After registering for the Promotion, a member can earn 2,000 bonus points for every two (2) qualifying room night stays during the Promotion Period. Members will have an unlimited earning potential for this Promotion during the Promotion Period. The points earned during the 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights Promotion can be used toward Reward Nights, can be redeemed for merchandise or can be used for other redemption opportunities, as permitted under the IHG One Rewards programme. The time needed for awarding points can vary with each promotion, so please allow up to 6 weeks for any earned bonus points to be posted to the recipient’s account.

To be a qualifying room night under the Promotion, the room night must fall within the Promotion Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. As stated, the “Promotion Period” runs from 9th February 2023 until 14th April 2023. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included.

For purposes of this Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum of 1-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding US $30 (or local currency equivalent) for each night. Participating hotels include all IHG® Hotels & Resorts and Mr and Mrs Smith properties, with the exception of those Six Senses® Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One Rewards and those Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that are not yet fully integrated into the IHG One Rewards programme. (To check if a specific Six Senses or Iberostar hotel is participating in this Promotion, contact the hotel directly.) Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion. If more than one member checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn points under the Promotion for those nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night, they will only receive bonus points for the Promotion on the room with the higher room rate for each qualifying night.

A member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards programme and this Promotion is subject to the standard IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be obtained here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com. The bonus points awarded through this Promotion are not Elite status qualifying. IHG may withdraw points from a member’s account if they were deposited into the member’s account in error and may revoke all points in a member’s account if the member abuses the IHG One Rewards programme, including but not limited to abuse of the point redemption process. IHG expressly reserves the right to remove a member’s points, downgrade their status or cancel their account if fraudulent activity in connection with the Promotion is detected, and any fraudulent or other prohibited activity relating to a member’s account, this Promotion, restricted rate offerings or the IHG One Rewards programme is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, including any of the identified actions that may be taken in response to such activity. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IHG One Rewards reserves the right of interpretation of the Promotion, as well as the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion.
