The highly-anticipated ultra-luxury property Aman Nai Lert Bangkok opens its doors on 2 April 2025. Set within the scenic Nai Lert Park in the city’s Pathum Wan district, the 52-suite hotel is home to a 1,500sqm Aman Spa & Wellness centre, multiple dining and social venues as well as exclusive branded residences. The Deluxe, Premier, and Corner Suites start at 94sqm, among the largest suites in Bangkok.
The hotel is designed by long-time Aman collaborator Jean-Michel Gathy, who also designed Jumeirah Bali, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, Aman New York as well as Janu Tokyo, the first property under Aman’s buzzy sister brand Janu.
Speaking about the property, Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, said: “Thailand has played a significant role in the history of our brand and the latest evolution, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, will offer a unique connection to the rich heritage of the city.
“This is enhanced by our close collaboration with the Nai Lert family, in particular, Naphaporn “Lek” Bodiratnangkura, whose involvement and support has ensured the property reflects the legacy of its incredible location. Further, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok represents another milestone in our long-term vision to introduce the exceptional Aman experience to urban destinations as well as providing a strategic link to our properties across Asia.”
Spanning two levels, the Aman Spa & Wellness offers an extensive range of hydrotherapy facilities and spa therapy room as well as a medical clinic, operated by Hertitude Clinic, which has its own IV Lounge and cryotherapy chamber. F&B and social spaces include signature Italian restaurant, Arva; lounge spaces Aman Lounge and 1872; and a dedicated cigar bar.
Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is the brand’s third city property after Aman Tokyo and Aman New York. Other Aman resorts in the region include Aman Kyoto in Japan, Amankila in Bali as well as Amanpuri in Phuket.
So far, my Aman experiences – Aman Tokyo, Aman Kyoto and if you count it, Janu Tokyo – have been limited to resorts either in the city or not too far divorced from, and it seems the Aman group is increasingly moving towards urban developments. The ultra-luxury sector in Bangkok has been phenomenal in recent years – Rosewood Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok and The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok have been sensational – and it will be interesting to see if Aman Nai Lert Bangkok can achieve the iconic status of Aman Tokyo.
