IHG Rewards Club has launched a sale for Club InterContinental room reservations at participating InterContinental hotels in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Australasia and Africa. For stays through 31 December 2019, IHG Rewards Club members who make reservations for rooms with club access (basically club rooms, suites and villas) at these hotels before 10 March 2019 will have every third night absolutely free, as long as the stay is for no longer than six nights.
Guests with club access typically have access to a separate and private check-in process at Club InterContinental (as opposed to queueing at the main reception), as well as rooms on executive floors. They are also offered morning breakfast, afternoon tea as well as cocktails and canapes at Club InterContinental during their stay, with these food presentations generally offering a la minute experiences as opposed to being simply full-on buffet-style.

I generally prefer Club InterContinental breakfast experiences as opposed to dining at the hotel’s breakfast venue in the morning, because the latter can get rather chaotic and uncomfortably wet market-esque during peak hours. Some of my more memorable Club InterContinental experiences include InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, InterContinental Bangkok and InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.
