Compressed Rum Infused Pineapple with alfalfa sprouts, vanilla ice cream and gula melaka drizzle from Feedlot Steakhouse Bar and Grill. The titular pineapple steak was sweet, juicy and really thick – you can convincingly knife and fork it as you would beef steak and role-play as a very glamorous and exotic vegetarian. I had mixed feelings about the rum, which made sure you knew it was lurking around the compounds without actually knocking on your door. Elsewhere, the ice cream did what it needed to, while the Marine Parade condo-living taugay was a decidedly curious inclusion, probably meant solely as a really posh pasture for the pineapple steak to graze. 3.6/5
