Snowflake waffle with earl grey and hazelnut roche ice cream from Rabbit Owl Depot. Justifiably earns its stripes as one of the better-tasting and more memorable waffles around, which goes to show that a waffle – or indeed any food item – can look striking and dramatic (read: “instagrammable”) and yet actually taste great too. The hazelnut roche was nutty, rich and creamy, whilst the earl grey was so brooding and intense, I wish somebody would take some sugar granules (?) from the icon of the ubiquitous Sugar app and toss it at him. 4.2/5
