Opening in September 2025, Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, the largest in the Kimpton portfolio with 495 rooms, sets a new global milestone for the brand while offering travelers an elevated experience in the vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui district. True to the Kimpton brand ethos, the hotel is expected to blend avant-garde design with Hong Kong’s local cultural richness, and enable connections within its community.
Commanding a prime address at 11 Middle Road, visitors are just steps from Victoria Harbour, cultural highlights, and the energy of Hong Kong’s most iconic neighborhood. This pivotal opening signals a transformative moment for upscale luxury lifestyle hospitality in Asia, while upholding a cultivation of local heritage in tribute to the revitalization of the Mariner’s Club.
“We envisioned Kimpton Hong Kong for the modern tastemaker – a global citizen who moves effortlessly between cultures, appreciates thoughtful design, and values authentic connections,” said Mike Robinson, General Manager of Kimpton Hong Kong. With 18 years of experience at Kimpton, Mike has successfully orchestrated the brand’s launches in international markets, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Los Angeles. He brings extensive knowledge and a deep passion for hospitality to this launch. “The hotel is a canvas for individuals who curate their own lives, blending the best of international sophistication with the creative pulse of the city. Here, every detail is designed to spark inspiration, foster community and offer a truly personal encounter.”
The property features 495 exquisitely appointed guest rooms, including 25 suites, each boasting sweeping views of Victoria Harbour, brought to life by a collective of Hong Kong’s leading design firms that blend global sophistication with local character. As with other Kimpton properties globally, the hotel is also pet-friendly. Wellness and lifestyle offerings are often integrated into every aspect of the guest experience at Kimpton, and the Hong Kong outpost is no exception. The hotel has a 20-metre heated rooftop pool, a state-of-the-art functional fitness center certified by HYROX, and a full-service luxury spa.

Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong will present five distinctive dining concepts:
- Birdsong, a café that features artisanal all-day coffees with draft beers and funky wines served in the evening.
- Hillside, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant which serves re-imagined Cantonese cuisine with contemporary flair.
- Swim Club, the rooftop bar oasis which channels the laid-back glamour of Southern California’s pool culture, pairing cocktails with panoramic skyline views.
- High Dive, an intimate 8-seat speakeasy with rare spirits and exceptional crafted mixology.
- JĪJĀ by Chef Vicky Lau, a signature specialty restaurant curated by one of Hong Kong’s Michelin-starred chef, Vicky Lau.

Following recent strong launches in Asia (notable properties include Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, Kimpton Kitalay Samui, Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo and Kimpton Da An Taipei), and given the significance of the property towards the Kimpton brand for IHG, this launch will be one to watch.
