The watermelon and lychee flavours are so passionately enmeshed in their amorous physicality that you can’t tell when either element starts and ends while the milky, Meiji-esque strawberry Pocky flavour is true to its titular purpose, offering the occasional shock of pleasurable raspberry crunch. Elsewhere, the above-average buttery waffle makes for a worthy and comfortable cushion, being crustily crispy on the outside and breadly soft on the inside. 4/5
