French Toast – Red Baron

French Toast from Red Baron – brioche, gula melaka, bananas and coconut ice cream, with a sprinkling of desiccated coconut. While the coconut elements did their jobs admirably and the brioche had a nice and remarkably eggy middle, the edges of the toast made me suspect that the brioche may not have showered and moisturised after fireman duty the night before, and the banana slices may have been prematurely snatched from their yellow cradle. 3.8/5
