Processed with VSCOcam with c1 presetAglio olio – spaghetti with sautéed garlic, chilli and pine nuts, finished with extra virgin olive oil. Nicely wet and oily. Unlike standard chilli padi, the chilli deployed here was of the dried and slightly burnt variety, and the spiciness is transient, disappearing before the iced water touches your lips. Loved the pine nuts, which gave a good peanut-esque crunch in a dish lacking in things to bite on. But man, my mouth itched for some good meat. 3.7/5
